Uggla’s Blitzkrieg Hitting Streak Continues

Dan Uggla, the Braves hitter, has extended his hitting streak to 23 games and his final of the shots was a solo homer for the braves in the ninth innings at National Park. The Braves manage Fredi Gonzalez is of the opinion that Uggla’s records will be a good one at the end of the MLB season with both home runs and RBIs. He has a total of 42 games remaining this season to come anywhere close to his career batting average which was .263 at the start of the season. Uggla is happy with his hitting form and he feels that his swinging powers and timing of hitting the ball is working perfectly for him. His hand eye co-ordination is perfect and this is the reason for him clobbering the ball to stands more often than not in every game.

The last game happens to be Ugggla’s sixth multi hit game in succession with his record pegged at 31 for 88 which also includes 10 home runs, five doubles, 19 runs scored and 20RBIs. He is now currently with a hit of .352 and had entered July with a hit of .180. Off late, he has made a huge contribution to his hitting ability and this has reflected in the increase in his hit ratio. His manager Gonzalez is very much happy to have this huge hitting giant in his side and keeping his current form in perspective, the manager feels that there are still many more to come from Uggla’s stable in the forthcoming MLB games this season.

Gonzalez has high regards for his hitting south paw and his ability to carry himself in times of adversities has helped him achieve the goal he was aiming for at the start of the season. Uggla is a dedicated and committed professional who would come for work everyday and play in the fashion that best suit him and that is to swing at the ball very hard. He has been lucky to connect on more occasions that not and this has resulted in the 223 game hitting streaks. The real endurance of the man during hard times and his self belief that he will overcome his difficult phase has made him a legend in the minds of his manager. Gonzalez said that Uggla was pretty sure that he would get out of his weak performance phase very soon.
