We just changed over and it seems like the pickup is better. Might just be my imagination or the news lead was better. Also - not sure if you saw Brian Solis' TechCrunch piece on press releases from 5/11, but it was excellent.</description>

		<description>I think you have a good list, I have had good success with many of the methods you mention. I also think that building a Squidoo lenses is a good one. 

One other effective term is to look for the right portals for your news. Search for the topic of your PR and the words "Submit News" in Google.  I have a list of 50 sites in my industry that accept news submissions and they are happy to get my press releases which they usually post. On top of them accepting the news it's targeted at people that really want my news. Include relevant links that would be interestng to your reader and boost your SEO efforts.</description>
